proof of god™.

i was wondering, myself.

not that i needed to know, you understand, but just because it was one of those great mysteries, you know? and i wanted to discover something, but not like a comet - i wanted to discover something that was going to stick around.

besides, doubt occupies a lot of valuable time.

here's my list:

• wine
• danish women
• april in the northern hemisphere on earth
• douglas-firs
in the late afternoon winter sun.
• barley
thus, beer and whiskey, et cetera
• onions
and my god, walla walla sweets in july
• garlic
and leeks, shallots, chives, scallions
• catnip
• cats
and dogs, but especially cats --

• cannabis
• nettles
• dandelions
• violets
• breasts
• heirloom vegetables
• locally grown anything

i also wanted to know what god looked like (so i could personally thank him for this, and everything else that didn't make the list), so i did a google image search.

granted, i did some winnowing when i searched, but i had to select images that were recognizable: a hand reaching from the clouds could be anybody.

if you see god, be sure and thank him. you might have a few questions, but bear in mind that he's (or "she's" or "it's") a pretty busy guy (or "dame" or "bit of business" -- let's just say "guy" for simplicity).

but be a pal and let him know you're still there. you might also give him a few bucks to buy a cup of coffee.
